DR Labelling specialises in all aspects of fabric labelling, swing tickets and ancillary products for the textile industry incorporating clothing and soft furnishings.
We offer an extensive range of products for large and small manufacturers and retailers, individually designed and produced to meet our customers’ particular specifications. Our products range from the simple wash care information label up to the multi-coloured decorative woven label and hang tag for that special item.
Used for brand identification or garment decoration, our in-house design facility will create portfolios of brand solutions to keep any product range up to date with global fashion trends – but within a budget to suit all requirements.
Our printed fabric labels and swing tickets are produced with the Pantone range of colours which are universally used throughout the print and packaging industry. Printed Fabric Labels
We produce all types of labels on various fabrics including woven edge polyester satin, cotton, nylon and all anti-fray materials. There are soft labels for those delicate garments or even heavy duty labels where industrial washing is a necessity. We can also supply a self adhesive satin acetate fabric label, widely used for re-labelling if your original sew-in label has been incorrectly produced.
Whether it’s a multi coloured presentation label, a simple wash-care and content label or even size labels, our home-based production facility covers all areas.
Our fabrics have been tested, and comply with the British Standards specification for the washing and dry cleaning of textile labels.

Woven Fabric Labels
For that special quality garment, our woven fabric labels and woven badges are tailored and designed to meet your own individual requirements. Our design team can provide innovative label creations customised to suit your every need whilst always understanding that your most valuable asset is your brand. All woven fabric labels are available supplied either on coils, cut to singles, and they can also be available on a heat seal or self adhesive backing.
The woven label can be used to promote and enhance the image of your product by incorporating both your company logo and name. We pride ourselves, as with all our products, in offering very low minimum quantities to assist the smaller manufacturer, or indeed the larger producer, when new designs may be on trial.
The woven badge makes an ideal decorative feature to the outside of any garment. We can supply them cut to any shape and finished ready to sew onto the garment.
For that added brand protection, you can also have an anti-counterfeit thread woven into the labels to ensure your products’ security.
In addition, we offer a woven label sampling service to give you ‘peace of mind’ prior to final production.
Heat Transfers
Consumers today are actively seeking ‘label free’ garments for added comfort. We now offer a full range of Heat Transfers to meet this requirement. Heat Transfers present a versatile solution for both garment decoration and ‘tag-free’ labelling across all apparel sectors. In the fashion world, adding a decorative transfer is a simple but effective way to transform a basic garment. This type of labelling ensures much faster production as the transfer is pressed into the garment and not sewn in.
Brand Identification Patches
Your brand logo on a designer patch can bring your garment to life. We produce a complete range of genuine leather and synthetic leather patches together with other decorative materials and also jean paper substrates. All of these are now a popular and decorative element on many garments such as jeans and active wear.
Many of the more rugged patches are ideal for the outer areas of the garment, whereas some of softer materials such as Amara Suede are widely used for inside labelling.
Furniture Labelling
Also included in our range, are both labels and swing tags specifically designed for the furniture sector.
The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations contain specific labelling requirements for all upholstered furniture, displayed, sold or supplied in the UK.
The requirements are applicable to all upholstered furniture, and the materials used in them, which includes headboards. These products must have the correct display tag and permanent label attached.
We carry as stock items the swing tags which must be fitted to the product when on display or sold at retail. It is either, a square green bordered ticket, where the cover is match resistant, or a red bordered triangular ticket, when the cover fabric is not match resistant.
We also supply either a sew-in fabric label or a self adhesive fabric label. The fabric label must contain the words ‘Carelessness Causes Fire’ together with other relevant information including the name of the supplier and a batch or identification number. These labels are all printed to order.

Swing Tickets / Hang Tags

We offer a complete design and print service to promote your brand and image in the marketplace.
Used by manufacturers and retailers alike, an attractive swing ticket/hang tag will enhance the image of your garment or product, and promote brand identity. We also provide specifically designed sock riders, together with tie and scarf hangers, which promote these products in the best possible light.
Whether in single or multi colour, strung or unstrung, our swing tickets are produced using a variety of boards and substrates incorporating your variable data and brand logos, to give you a fully integrated and functional product.
We actively promote a close working relationship with the customer to fully understand their needs to enable us to provide those innovative designs which will perfectly create and reflect a unique brand identity.
We also offer our tags in various new and innovative substrates such as Moulded , Micro-injected, PVC or Vinyl, embossed tags and even metal tags.
We can also offer tickets, either plain or printed in continuous roll form which is suitable for in-house variable data printing.
Now with our Digital service we can also offer full colour tickets and tags in small quantities. This is the ideal solution for the small manufacturer who has that quality product and needs the ticket to reflect it. This service is equally useful for the larger producer or retailer when it comes to seasonal and promotional lines.
String Seals
For that extra bit of quality, why not promote your product by attaching your swing tickets with a string seal. Injection moulded plastic tags, hot foil relief embossed with your company name and logo together with a quality string can place your product on a higher level. Available in numerous colours and styles you can customise the seal to suit your individual requirements.
Tag Attachments
For the unstrung ticket and tag we have a full range of barbs/kimballs and tagging guns for all applications. From the flimsiest silk lingerie to the toughest leather, you can be sure that our barbs, guns and needles can cope – and with the utmost care.
We offer barbs for all applications, manufactured in either nylon or polypropylene, from fine to heavy duty and over a complete range of sizes, from as small as 3mm up to 175mm. To accommodate the contrasting barbs, we offer a range of guns and needles best suited to the product to be tagged.
To complement our barbs, we have a selection of hooks, security loops and beaded ties. Our hooks can be used to hang lightweight items from a pegboard and wall fittings. Socks, gloves and soft toys are just a few of the items hung in this way.
Security loops help to prevent theft by making it virtually impossible to remove and replace the swing ticket. These are ideal for items such as luggage, pots and pans, or any hardware item with a hole or handle.

Why not print your own labels in-house. We offer a low-cost thermal transfer printer, with a custom designed software package, together with the current wash and care symbol fonts to meet the regulations required for the textile industry - all supplied with the printer.
This can be specially set up to print your own wash care, content and size labels when you need them – no matter how small the amount. Printed onto anti-fray fabrics, in either taffeta or polyester satin and we also have numerous print colours available. We carry stocks to ensure you can respond to your productions needs – instantly.
We also offer a cutter for the printer to enable you to produce your labels in singles, immediately available to sew into the garment.
